Gradudate Student Assistant Application Process
If you are interested in applying for the Graduate Student Assistant position in the Stark Campus Library, please read the Job Announcement and then follow these steps:
(You MUST be accepted and enrolled currently or in the fall of 2022 for at least 4 credit hours in the KSU Master's Degree Program for Library and Information Science)
- Complete and submit the application form to the right.
- Send any supplemental information (letter of reference, for example) to mbauer10@kent.edu
- Apply for student employment on the Stark Campus (details can be found on the Stark Campus Student Employment website)

Graduate Student Assistant
The Stark Campus Library has an opening for a part time (28 hours/week) Graduate Student Assistant. Applicants must be enrolled at least half time (4 credit hours) in Kent State University’s School of Library and Information Science Master’s degree program (currently or starting in the fall of 2022). This job is an opportunity for future librarians to gain professional experience before entering the job market.
