Return Your Library Materials

If you have library materials currently checked out, the due date has been changed until August 31. You can keep those items until that date or until the library formally reopens. If you would prefer to return your materials now, the library will be "open" on a limited basis for the sole purpose of allowing you to return your materials. This guide describes the process for returning your materials.

Dates/Hours for returning your materials

Friday, May 8
9:00am to 3:00pm

Monday though Thursday, May 11 - 14
9:00am to 3:00pm

If these hours do not work out for you to return your materials, you can email the library to see if a more appropriate time can be arranged:

Procedure for returning materials to the Stark Campus Library

  • The outer doors of the library will be open for people to come in the vestibule entrance area to drop off their library materials (books, DVDs, equipment, etc.)
  • People are NOT allowed into the building proper
  • Information will be prominently posted on the library’s homepage (https://www.kent.edu/stark/library)
  • Instructions will be posted on the outer doors and inside the vestibule to assist people in returning their materials
  • Hand sanitizer will be available
  • If someone has already entered the building to return their items, please wait until they leave before entering to return your items
