The library's online catalog of materials, KentLINK, contains materials from all of the KSU library collections. The ability to request items online will be turned back on sometime before July 6. Please search the catalog at http://kentlink.kent.edu/
The statewide OhioLINK catalog will allow online requests starting on August 10.
Items that are available for borrowing will have an active Request button. Even if you will be picking up a Stark Campus item from the Stark Campus Library, you must request it online. Please pay attention to the screen display to make sure that your request was successful. Once you successfully request an item, the KSU library owning it will retrieve it from their shelves and send it to the library indicated for pick up. Please keep in mind that our library has limited hours and deliveries from other libraries will arrive weekly. That means that requests for items will take much longer than usual. We appreciate your patience. Once an item is available for pickup, you will be sent an email message with a link directing you to a webpage with instructions. Those instructions are also below.
When an requested item is available for you to pick up, you simply need to come to the library during the hours listed above and call our phone number as you arrive but before you enter (330-244-3330). The phone number will be listed on the door. Library staff will prepare your materials while you wait and place them on a table in our entrance area. The library proper is closed to the public, only our entrance area (vestibule) will be open. Once your materials are placed in the entrance area by library staff, you will be allowed in to pick them up and leave.
If you just want to return items you have checked out, come to the library and there will be a cart in our entrance area for you to drop your materials off. Enter through the door all the way to your right. Because we need to quarantine returned items for 3 days, there will be a delay before the items are removed from your library record.
